Meet Your Coach:
Dr. Myava Clark!
Dr. Myava Clark is a dedicated advocate and educator with a multifaceted background in respiratory therapy and higher education. She earned her Bachelor’s in Biology with a Concentration in Respiratory Therapy and a PhD in Professional Studies specializing in Higher Education and Leadership & Administration.
Dr. Clark’s career began in respiratory therapy, where she worked as a clinician, lab specialist, clinical instructor, and college professor. As a mother of two adult children, Dr. Clark's journey includes navigating the special education system with the individualized education program (IEP) for her son, and the 504 plan for her daughter. Her journey with the special education system inspired her to co-found CASEN (Collaborative Advancement for Social-Emotional Needs) with her son, Chris Clark Jr.
Dr. Clark helps mothers of children with learning differences build a stronger bond with their children and keep them safe online by providing tools and resources to build their children’s self-confidence so mothers won’t fear their children being bullied by other kids.
